THERE'S SO MUCH TO EXPERIENCE AROUND HERE!
Coming from the midwest with no knowledge whatsoever of the Bay Area, I wandered into My Aunt's House where Nancy fed me delicious food, gave me an adorable room, did my laundry, and loaned me her van. I felt immediately at home. What more could I have asked for? Nancy welcomed me and gave me a family in the Bay Area.
I had come to the Bay Area to do summer research at Stanford between my second and third year of medical school. I had only brought with me suitcases full of clothes and my subpar cooking skills. When I arrived at Nancy's I was immediately greeted by whiffs of delicious aroma and Cokie and Bella, the most loving doggie companions a girl can ask for. They knew exactly when you've had a bad day and always ready to greet you at the gate. I fell in love with the place and the people. Nancy and Sooze were wonderful and my housemates were easy to get along with. There is something amazing about having Nancy and Sooze hand pick the housemates so that I don't have to worry. They made everything so stress free, which was what I needed. My favorite memories of living at Nancy's include summer nights drinking wine and eating delicious food in the gazebo.
When I was given an opportunity to return to the Bay, I knew exactly where I wanted to return to! I decided to take a research year after my third year of med school and I knew I had to live at Nancy's again, so here I am!

I stayed at 'My Aunt's House" for four months and I loved it! The room was lovely and Nancy and Sooze are just awesome; they are friendly, very helpful with anything and real fun. We spent hours chatting and laughing and (very important) Nancy is a great cook! Simply, I found real friends more than just roommates and staying there I just felt like home.

Nancy’s house is always with full of fun. Loneliness is the last thing you can think of while staying in her house. Everyone is invited to various activities; wine tasting in Napa Valley, watching an old movie at Stanford theater, dining out to Michelin star restaurants, etc. The culture of My Aunt’s House is unique and very welcoming. Once you experience it, you will not forget it. Nancy’s place will be the best place for a person who relocates to Bay Area like I was. Now it’s your time. Enjoy.

There are several great things that I can mention about my stay at "My Aunt's House", such as the food, cleanliness and friendly environment, but the most important amenity is that you are in a place that you can really call “Home”. At that time, I was a Mexican MBA student from Cornell doing a summer internship in Redwood City, so I was pretty much away from friends and family. One day I had a bicycle accident on my way back from work, and right after the accident I was very confused about what to do. Nancy helped me a lot that day advising me about what to do, who to call and also taking care of me while I was recovering. This “you are part of our family” kind of treatment is absolutely PRICELESS!!

While studying at Stanford as a graduate student, my wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Nancy's home. The location is great - just a short car ride to Stanford University and a great home base for exploring the Bay Area and the Northern California Coast in general. We stayed in the Green Suite or the "spa room" as we like to call it. The decor is calming and the shower is heavenly. The high speed internet and cable were great. The laundry and cleaning service was also very convenient! However, our absolute favorite part of staying here was getting to know Nancy and Sooze as well as the other tenants in the house. We often got together for dinner parties (Nancy is an incredible chef!) and had a blast laughing and telling stories into the evening. This was such a wonderful and memorable place for us and we're confident you'll find the same.

I came careening into the Bay Area with hardly a plan and "My Aunt's House" could not have been a better (or more stylish) place to land. Instead of spending my first few days scrambling to find furniture and stock a kitchen, I could focus on my new job. Nancy has created a haven in busy Silicon Valley, and one of the most welcoming places I've ever been. After a long day of work, still getting used to a new city, I could not have been more thankful to see Nancy's smiling face over a pan of her famous lasagna when I came home. Needless to say, what was intended as a short-term accommodation turned into a two and half year stay that brought me new life-long friends in Nancy and Sooze as well as many of the other tenants. Also, the heated toilet seats will change your life :)

When I was searching for places to live in the Bay Area I met quite a few landlords but when I met Nancy I knew I had found my next home. I wouldn't really even call her a landlord actually, more like an understanding friend that's there for you when you need her. I lived at Nancy's place for about a year and loved every minute of it! The amenities are great and it's nice having an all inclusive cost for rent, great internet/cable, weekly maid service, fresh towels, stocked toilet paper (really quite nice), and I'm sure I'm missing some others. She even let me use her car to get groceries since mine was in an accident while living there. Knowing what a great place it was I had a friend of mine take over my room when I had to move. I still consider Nancy a friend and will always look back fondly at my days living in her home.

I have lived here for just over a month and I absolutely love it! Everything in the ad is true. Nancy and Sooze are so nice, caring and a lot of fun to talk to! Everything is clean and perfectly maintained. If there is ever an issue it is addressed immediately. Also, when Nancy prepares a meal it is not to be missed! This is a great place to live. I feel I can be myself and my privacy is always respected. This is truly a home and not just a place to store things and sleep.

This house is truly one of a kind. Nancy has created a special haven from the busy-ness of Silicon Valley, where there is true balance between privacy and community. It is amazing to live with a group where you always feel you have someone to talk with, laugh with, or cook with, alongside the option to have complete privacy in your own room or in a quiet place on the property. I loved every minute that I spent with Nancy and Sooze, and still consider them great friends!

The first thing I noticed about the house was the great decor; it looks stylish, modern, and very clean. The home was exactly as it looked in the photos, and the location could not be better. As I travel so often and am always on the move I was comforted by knowing that Nancy could work so well with my schedule and needs. Things like packages being delivered or meals prepared at times when I had so much on my itinerary, were so simple for Nancy to take care of and made my life run even smoother.

Moving to the Bay Area can be quite an ordeal, especially when you’re separated from your loved ones. Fortunately, I found Nancy & Sooze at "My Aunt’s House" and they eased my acclimation. Staying here removed all daily distractions like laundry, food, cleaning, etc., and I’ve been able to focus and thrive in this new town with their kindness and support. The convenience of Redwood City to all areas of the bay is amazing, as well as having an adorable downtown area with restaurants and any retail shopping you’d need. This truly feels like staying with family!
