​​​I'm Nancy, I’ ve owned this house for many years and live here with three wonderful renters. I retired from high tech in 2010 because I wanted to create "My Aunt's House"; a unique shared living choice that did not exist in the world of Silicon Valley rental options.


I wanted to offer working professionals a fully furnished housing option that

Avoids:

1) The frustration of living with potentially messy or inconsiderate roommates

2) The cost of setting up a new apartment from scratch 

3) The isolation of living in a new place alone 


Instead, I designed "My Aunt's House", a home-like living environment that

Provides:

1) Privacy and personal space that is supportive, safe, and trustworthy

2) A comfortable place to live for a couple of months or a couple of years

3) Almost no day-to-day chores and household responsibilities so that you

     are free to focus entirely on developing your career and enjoying your personal life

I'm an easygoing, open-minded person who loves to laugh. I tend to get along with pretty much anyone, and I love hosting people in my home. There are four studio-style suites in the main house, I live on the downstairs level of the main house and my tenants live in their own wing of the house. Everyone living has their own bedroom, bathroom and private garden entrance. All suites in the main house have a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and tea pot.


New Private Cottage!

I now have one beautiful, freshly remodeled, private cottage with office/yoga room. This is a separate building, there are no shared walls. The cottage is bright and airy with beautiful natural light  It is located behind the main house, surrounded by flower gardens and a beautiful gazebo sitting area. The bedroom is fully furnished, spacious and quiet, there is a huge, spa bathroom, full kitchenette you can cook a holiday meal in, and generous storage.

While everyone has as much privacy as they would like here, the people we attract tend to be warm and friendly so we act as a community of friends for each other.

Our environment is very relaxed. Our living room has comfortable furniture and a gas fireplace, perfect for hanging out or enjoying a Netflix movie night. We think of ourselves as pajama and sweat pants people when lounging at home! Our kitchen has a 10 foot by 2 foot table-height stone counter that is ideal for working on a laptop or eating a meal.


The house has central air conditioning/heat and ultra high speed wireless internet. ​​The property is surrounded by gardens of flowering plants, fruit trees, beautiful outdoor seating and fountains. All our rooms have a 32 inch, Samsung flat screen HD/LCD TV with Xfinity advanced digital cable. and a ROKU. You don't have to worry about purchasing anything for your new home, it's likely that we already have everything you need.


​We have a little dog, Cokie, a 15 pound bichon/poodle mix. She is very friendly and sweet and does not go into the part of the house where our tenants live.
