We are located in Redwood City California, in a quiet, clean and safe residential neighborhood. This is my private property and I have lived here for many years. For the past fifteen years I have provided working professionals with lovely studio apartments and cottages, surrounded by a beautiful garden setting.

I stayed in Nancy's Green studio from May-July 2025 and I loved it! Location: I stayed here while doing summer research at Stanford. The commute was easy. There's lots of great places to eat and shop nearby. I especially enjoyed the farmer's market which is a 5 minute walk away. Pets: It was hard to find a nice place to stay because I have a cat. Nancy loves well behaved pets and let me bring mine. It was such a relief to be able to have my cat with me. Nancy even checked up on me when my cat had to go to the emergency vet! Host: Nancy is super friendly and accommodating. She gauges your preferred level of communication; she'll chat if you like, or give you space. I felt like I had a caring aunt looking out for me, which was so comforting being far from home. Unit: It was immaculate when I moved in. It's well-appointed with linens, appliances, even hangers. All I had to bring was clothing and personal items. Overall: A gem of a unit and a phenomenal host. I highly recommend it!

The studio apartment is beautiful, it’s very modern, the furnishings are high quality, and it’s very quiet and private. The bathroom is great, the shower is especially amazing. I also really like the location, it’s a short drive to Stanford, Facebook, new restaurants, and downtown Redwood City is within walking distance, plus there is an amazing orchard grocery store only two blocks away.

This cottage is such a hidden gem. I travel a lot for work and this is by far one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. It's quiet and private, which I really appreciated. The bed was comfy and the kitchen is well equipped with brand new appliances. Would definitely stay here again.

My Aunt's House is mindfully crafted for a comfortable stay. My unit was beautifully decorated and she had thought of all the things you might need, such as plenty of storage space in the closet, bathroom and even under the bed. There was an expanding desk, coffee machine and kettle in the unit. Nancy was very friendly and happy to either leave you be when you were in the outside shared spaces, or was chatty when you felt like it. The stainless steel, modern kitchen is unique and well-appointed. The outside was beautiful with lovely landscaping and lots of places to sit and enjoy the flowers. Nancy carefully selects her guests to help ensure the privacy and a quiet environment for professional adults. I highly recommend staying with Nancy!

Over the years I've stayed at My Aunt's House so much that I've practically moved in with Nancy! The house and gardens are beautiful, the environment is relaxed and friendly. I'm a quiet person who doesn't socialize much, and that is not a problem there, no one bothers me so I get as much privacy as I want.

Nancy is a great landlady and her dog is the absolute cutest. I rented their Yellow Suite after extending my travel contract at Stanford Healthcare. The commute is short, which I personally preferred. Nancy is always friendly but gave me plenty of privacy. She ensures that all her renters feel welcomed and at home. I would have continued renting here if I did not have to move for another job.

This is a great cottage. It includes everything you need including a great kitchen with high quality cooking items. The rent includes all utilities. The yard is beautiful and the location is quiet yet still close to major highways. The cottage is very private and has plenty of storage. Above all that, the homeowner is friendly and welcoming. On one occasion Nancy cooked a great meal and invited all the renters on the property to join her in the beautiful gazebo for a relaxing outdoor dinner. There was no requirement to attend, it was just a friendly invitation! The only reason I moved is because it was too far from my new job. Or I would have stayed! I loved renting there.
